Detox

Found some more shitty poetry from high school! I'm really sorry about assaulting you with these, but I really love them, they are so... Melodramatic.


It'd be so much easier
If we said goodbye
You face just reminds me
What we once had

Like a detox
Time spent away
Gets you out of my system
Gets me no longer wishin

But the high of the pain
Sweet taste of it all
Crawling under my skin
I want to cuddle up inside

It'd be so much easier
If you'd let us say goodbye
